Finally!

Finally...

I am done reading the book "The Zahir" by Paulo Coelho. I have been into it for more than 2 months already that my cousin Ally was teasing me this morning about my not finishing the few pages left. I'm not sure why it took me so long to finish reading it, maybe because I wanted to make sure that every time I open it I have my full concentration and focus on it. The book is so compelling; it is filled with little stories that attempt to explain happiness and control of our fate and destiny and the lessons convince us that the journey is as important as the destination. Indeed, our lives are often shaped by forces larger than ourselves and life do evolves until we die. Kudos to my fave author for coming up with another masterpiece.

Finally...

I had my first Laser Hair Removal session this afternoon. After months of dilly dallying and weighing the pros and cons I decided to go for it. Ally and I headed off to Facial Care Center at GT Tower in Ayala Avenue supposedly for a consultation only, but the consultant I spoke with was so good in convincing me that theirs is really the best treatment program in town when it comes to permanent hair removal. Consequently, after raising all my doubts, questions & hesitations which she answered all to my satisfaction, I went thru my first session smoothly. Accordingly, results will be visible after 2 to 3 treatments. So 3 months from now, I'll let you know if it's worth the trouble (and the money). LOL.

Finally...

I just love hearing the song with the same title fom Fergie. It is the sixth single from pop/R&B singer's debut solo album The Dutchess (2006). Rumor has it that this song was written by Fergie based on her past experience as a drug addict who managed to clean up her mess and move on with her life as sober as she can.
