Weekend Get Away

Last Saturday Ally, Jon & I with my honey's 2 other friends Owen & Chuck, headed to Hagonoy, Bulacan to attend a colleague's mother death anniversary. We were greeted by one of the worst traffic I have ever seen in EDSA. Oh my! it's really a wonder how we Pinoys can live through this, but surprisingly, we do. I guess one just have to get used to it in order to survive living here LOL.

After almost 2 hours in the road, we arrived at Mon's house where a sumptuous meal- which include my favorite crabs & shrimps- is waiting for us. This is actually the main reason why I was so looking forward to going to Mon's place. Those crabs and shrimps were so tempting and I just gotta give in to my cravings. LOL.

We stayed there the rest of the day with non-stop serving of foods. It's what we call a real food trip. Thanks again to Mon & his family for the warm welcome and the delightful meals. We really had a great time. Hope there'll be a next time. *Wink*
