I was overwhelmed with happiness when I got my birthday present from my honey, it's the one thing I've been wishing of, dreaming about, and endlessly raving for a year now, to have my own DSLR camera and my honey gave me no less than a Nikon D5000.
We went to Hidalgo together - if you are living in Manila and you want to get the cheapest and the best deals in cameras and accessories, Hidalgo is the place to go. If you're wondering how to get to Hidalgo, here's how: my honey and I met and get on the train at Buendia LRT station then get off Carriedo station through Isetan, we went down to the ground floor to cross the street and entered SM and exited at the other side where Watson store is located. You're already in the camera haven called Hidalgo, walked around and you will see some famous stores there like Henry's, Mayer's, etc.
Nikon D5000 price have been fluctuating for months, when my honey bought mine, he got it for P28, 500 from Mayer's, Henry's on the other hand is selling it for P29,000.00. Nikon D5000 is being sold like hotcake in Hidalgo.
I'm more excited to attend photography workshops now that I have my own DSLR camera, to know the ins and outs of basic photography and what not. Watch out for my progress as I will surely share it here on my blog.
